Well done on this game! I really like how this is a board game where it's not about reaching like a certain goal, but just surviving for the longest, which kinda raises the question many humans ask themselves... "What's the meaning of life? Is it bad if I step on that Alcoholism field and lose 4 years of my life?" or something like that ahahah xD

It's really fun seeing those different outcomes and things which affected your life, I also had two completely different runs. In one I had horrible luck and was born in a poor family with alcoholism, bad climate and no good things at all and died rather young ^_^ While on the other I was able to achieve a lot of good things and live up to 129 years.

I'd suggest giving the player more "control" and "room" to play, because if you're down a certain road you're quite likely to either get a bunch of positive effects at once or many bad ones instantly, which is exactly what happened to me. Also, a two-player mode would be pretty cool, to see who ends up dying first xD

This is an amazing concept, and it was executed brilliantly, too ^_^ I like how your actual HP is your currency to upgrade yourself, but you can't just blindly waste it since this game is centered around gambling, casinos etc. so you also have a high chance to win nothing :^ That's clever.

I also liked the gameplay. Despite you just fighting some brainless, big guys and some angry grandmas, it's still pretty epic and fun! :D

You did a good job at this game, it stays true to its theme and is just overall really fun ;^)

Thank you so much!

I don't really know what I just played... But it felt pretty awesome :D The effects are really trippy and made me feel drunk, but they added another layer of fun to the game.
It was neat, I'll give you three stars for that ^_^ Would be cool if it lagged a bit less and if either the effects were stronger and trippier for more fun, or actually less intense, so you can actually SEE and UNDERSTAND what's going on here xD

randomalo responds:

I can understand all this haha, the effects are clearly part of the game (i'm not sure how they could be more than that though)

It's an old thing to test out some effect, figured it could fit into newsgrounds. A similar looking project of mine can be found here I guess https://regisrquoi.itch.io/a-nightmare-for-epileptics
my next game will probably look a lot like this too

Thanks for all the feedbacks !

I like how you designed your character and his movements while idle and when you don't move him.
I think the attack you do when you attack while jumping looks pretty cool :^) I would probably add more than just one type of "standard" attack (like piercing, slashing etc.) and also add a tray after the sword is swung. All other movements, honestly, seem quite fluid and nice.

Good job! I really like your demo of a game mechanic here, you differ from many other people who post something like this for the first time by having it feel polished and enjoyable. I hope you'll create a cool game some day, this movement mechanic screams for cool action and fights :P

3 Seconds? 3 Stars! :D
It's a very simplistic game, but I like it's concept and how you managed the games. They require you to think really quickly and once you get into it it becomes really fun and addictive ^_^

Overall, decent job! You executed this game's concept really well :^

Cool game, Yannick! ^_^ I really like its gameplay, requiring you to have really good timing but also a good strategy, since there's the added, awesome mechanic that asteroids and suns can pull you and change your trajectory, and if you get sucked right into them you just straight up explode xD
Cool art style, fitting music which is relaxing and gives you that space vibe at the same time... everything is really cool : ) It'd be cool if you added more levels and perhaps also details in a level.

Ysopprod responds:

Thank you for your feedback :)

Not too bad of a game ;) Was initially going to give it less, but after having a second run through I saw how much effort you put into the final boss, and I also understood how the game' supposed to be played more :^⁾

I wasn't able to beat the final boss after those two runs, though. I think he needs a slight nerf. The bullets you shoot just do sooo little damage to him, it barely tickles him. And some of his attacks spawn so many letters that the game starts to lag. I'd suggest fixing this a bit.
Oh, also, the first section of the game alone, with those many robots shooting at you ate up like 50% of my total hearts 0_0 I'd suggest fixing that too, if possible :)

Anyways, I really like this game you've developed with your friend. It has fun gameplay and very cool enemies, but I'd give it an extra layer of polish by adding more sound effects, making the player's bullets bigger etc. Just those small things ^^

Herbrek responds:

Thanks for your feedback! We have applied it to improve the game!

Wow, I love how simple the game is, but that extra layer of polishness makes playing it more fun and enjoyable :) I really it's athmosphere, that music, along with you, that lonely arrow, wandering through space and endless asteroids, as if you were in a lonely desert, searching for something...

I also like the two-player mode, the one feature which I often times ask people to add to their games to make them even better. This game handled most of the things I expected from it really well, I'd suggest maybe adding a bit more variety to the asteriods/design so it seems more interesting, but it's a good move making everything look similar so it creates that loneliness effect.

Good job, and keep making cool games like this :^)

How dare you... create such an amazing game 0_0
Man, I NEEDED to play this right now... xD I've had a very stressful day and now I run into this relaxing and satisfying game, with those buttery-smooth animations, fantastic sound effects, responsive gameplay and very bouncy physics. This is ideal. I love it.

You did an amazing work on this game, feels very professional, polished and is very enjoyable. I think one thing which you could've added would be more color and effects, since the game felt so upbeat and fast-paced with that responsive in-and output, I think making it more colorful and flashy wouldn't hurt :P

Great work on this game! It's excellent, I definitely hope to find more games like this one on the site :^

Ok, this was pretty neat, I expected something crazy to happen if you chose something wrong, like her turning into a monster or something... but it was just a normal game xD

It's a neat prototype for a much bigger game. It'd be awesome if you expanded this more, added more dialogues, tried to maybe reduce lag ( I don't know about the others, but my game was lagging a lot ). If you put enough work into it, then it might become as much of a masterpiece as Doki Doki Literature Club! ;D

Keep up!
