Nice shooter game prototype! Some of the gameplay elements here are VERY reminiscent of other shooter games that I've tried, but... whatever :D
The game responds to my input very well and looks decent too, but it lacks some gameplay elements to make it more interesting and enjoyable. Hopefully it'll come soon ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

Your games so far might seem a bit lacking in features to call them "full games", but they are great prototypes for creating something bigger and better! Definitely keep that up, and continue improving on your games and coming up with great ideas like that! ;)

RlcZyro responds:

Again, thank you for your feedback. I have recently added new features but currently I am having some problems with publishing them but they will be out soon!

Wow, seems like I ended up at the right place xD The reviews mention that this is reminiscent of "Super Hexagon" and I totally have to agree. Did you get inspired by it or is it mere coincidence that the games are so similar ? (though, I'd be very surprised if this was the case :D)

The game looks alright so far, but the leaderboards don't work yet properly ( though I assume you are working on them now) and the game seems a bit bland overall. Adding more achievements, colors, gameplay elements etc. would definitely spice things up ^_^

Anyways, good job on this so far ;)

RlcZyro responds:

Thanks for the feedback! And yes I was inspired by super hexagon.

Amazing! This game had rather simple and straight-forward gameplay, but it was really fun to play it! The graphics look gorgeous, the animation is smooth and it's just overall very satisfying to play this, not so sure why xD
It was made in a way where it's very enjoyable, I'd LOVE to see a similar game to this one but bigger, where you can move more and have more gameplay aspects, yet the core mechanics are pretty much the same since they're already perfect ;)

Fantastic job on this! I really enjoyed my first run through it! I'd like to give it another shot, but I think it could benefit from some more enemies, powerups and so on to spice things up :^

Well, I mean, the game was programmed very well, there are no bugs or errors to be seen and the level progression/enemy generation worked fine too, but the idea of the game wasn't executed to well in my opinion ...

It takes away lots of fun not being able to control your hero other than giving him some potions from time to time. Sometimes, this mechanic might work, but if you don't have any enemy sprites and art to please the eyes during that time then it simply gets boring extremely quick ...

I have no idea how the game changes as you get further or how the premium version differs from this one, but just from the initial impression I don't think it's very well thought out.

Overall, this seems like a game with great potential, but it's execution just isn't very good. Adding more gameplay elements, art etc. would truly make this feel like a more addictive and fun RPG ;^)

JasonNumberThirteen responds:

Yeah, you may be right. Being honestly I took the mechanics as a main priority. I wanted to make this text-based and could be boring. Next time I'll just take your advices to make things better and that's it. Thanks for you honest opinion. I must always know what I have done wrong.

This game looks pretty cool ^_^ I didn't manage to come very far because I had little time to play it, but I like it's progressive ramp-up in difficulty. And the messages are also interesting.
Well, I think other people will give better feedback, but from my experience I can just say that it was quite nice and you did a very good job on this :3

This is a very minor detail and you don't have to really work on it, but if there was anything you could possibly do better then I'd suggest maybe making the artstyle a bit more attractive.
Using gradient effects on those pixel ice spikes or maybe adding some breezes in the background or something like that could add more to the game, but only if you want to ^_^

Keep up the good work!!! ;D

B1ph responds:

In this game i tried to focus on the mechanics and the programming itself, i'll take this next week to improve my art. Tysm for your feedback <3

Wow! This game's mechanic is very unique and interesting, despite me sucking at it xxD
It has a very minimalistic but fun approach to it. I truly feel like a superhero when I control that sphere with those ropes.

Well, it was kinda difficult to get used to the controls, but the game looks sweet ^_^

Neat! Cool-looking 3D game, runs very well and its mechanics are interesting ( though, I didn't really get any further than on the level where you see that yellow dressed guy for the first time.

Also, is it a crazy coincidence, or are some aspects of this game inspired by the anime JoJo?
The character is dressed in purple like a character in that anime who also has the ability to make things explode when he touches them. Also, in the description of the game you said something about leading a quiet life, and that's also one of that guy's main goals! :D

Either way, not too bad of a game! I'd add more decorations surrounding you to make the levels seem more interesting and lively. Maybe also a couple other things.

karpopper responds:

The game is made in a doom / wolfenstein engine which is probably why it runs so well. And yeah its based off of jojo part 4, I really love the aesthetic of that part especially the yellow sky and Kira is my favorite villian. I did think about adding more things as decorations such as lamps, but right now the engine is very limited and for now things like that may just be distractions but I may add some more things as the engine is improved.

Very straightforward, but great game for your first submission on here! ;) It plays quite well, reacts to my inputs accordingly and isn't too buggy. There are some minor things that I'd improve on to make the game seem more high quality, like maybe more detaild art ( with less emerging pixels ) and more gameplay elements and modes.

Also, that sound when you lose is great xD
Good job on this, keep up what yoz're doing! ;)

uadla responds:

thanks a lot, for your input!

I'm just a hobbyist, and it's my second game. I need to add more gameplay, I think that reach 800 points will be a little long and bored, maybe repetitive.

Alright, this seems like a pretty neat game, definitely caught my attention the moment I saw it :)
I really like the game's mechanic, and the UI is designed pretty well, however, I feel like the game is overall a bit confusing and could be made a little bit more simple.

I don't know, maybe using more colors or making houses/icons bigger and easier to grab? I kinda felt overwhelmed at a point with the many different buildings, and I really feel like the icons could be made bigger since there's quite a bit of free space and they are kinda hard to click ( well, not really, but if you combine that with the somewhat tricky gameplay it becomes hard to focus).

Well, either way, nice game so far ^_^ Just keep improving it and try to make it maybe a little bit more easy to grasp. But other than that, Merry Christmas! ;)

rickropes responds:

Thank you for the input, I actually hadn't realized but because of the CRT tv effect the collisions on the Presents were a little off. I fixed that and increased the size a bit to make it easier to interact with.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

Checking out another game by you, and this one is just as cool as Cardboard Hero Christmas :D
But this one has more incovenient things in it that could easily be fixed and definitely make the game feel more polished,.. like the screen resolution ( the bottom part is cut out for me ), WASD instead of SEFD ( like, why did you even choose that control instead of the tradition WASD? xD)

You could also add more to the game so that you can play it by yourself too or just have even more fun in 2 player. That'd be neat.
But, I think the game looks alright the way it is. There is nothing that seems too weird in the gameplay, it's working well ^^ Though I'd suggest to fix the bugs I've mentioned and maybe also add a bit more to the game (though the chests seemed neat, but maybe more characters or gameplay mechanics would be good).

Metellus1998 responds:

Thanks for your feedback. I was able to fix the problem with the screen resolution and like you i would have also liked the wasd buttons way more but sadly we made this game with an engine named pico8. This engine is very limited, so limited Indeed that you couldn't make the wasd buttons to work.

But for a game made in just 2 weeks by 2 students i am very proud of what became of it.
