Fantastic 8bit stlye dungeoncrawler! The gameplay was a blast for me, very unique and fun, trying to find the perfect timing and place to backstab your enemy without him or the others seeing you. There's a good mix of tactic and skill involved.
Also, that soundtrack got me really pumped and excited to defeat 'em all! ;D

Great game! I remember when I played chat foncé by you, that was another awesome hit with a minimalistic style like this one! :^)

This game was definitely worth a play, was interesting to see the meaning behind those glyphs and colors and then try to eliminate as many of them at once as possible by finding an appropriate term on the left. I've played this in the Firefox browser, too, and had no issues with the game whatsoever ^_^ It runs well and the oriental background music is on point :^)

Keep this up! For your first game on this platform, this is really decent and enjoyable :) Also cool that you've posted a download link to the game so we can see further how it works due to the fact that it's open-source :)

GreenMeklar responds:

Thanks, I'm glad someone liked it! :)

The nostalgia from playing this game many years ago is real, I'd decided to give it a try so I can finally post a review for this great game and also just have some fun blasting away those robots and soldiers ;^)

The ragdoll physics on this are amazing, they function very well and make the gameplay feel much more fluid and funny, especially when you kill those soldiers with the jet packs and then they just wander off into nowhere xD
Despite the fact we only have four weapons in total, they are all very different and have various use cases where they are more or less effective (e.g. laser beam good when many enemies are lined up, grenade launcher is amazing against strong enemies which are close to each other).

Overall, combat system was great and entertaining, level design was brilliant and the performance was very nice too, despite having a few small hiccups here and there. I've just got the fifth stage left to beat and then I'll finally beat the game after all those years! :D

Ahoy! Nice game, it has a simple mechanic, sure, but the gameplay was lots of fun for me and sometimes required really precise timings and a bit of strategy, to an extent where it wasn't too challenging, but neither too boring. I also like how the character sprite, crates, water and fire are all simple parts of the levels, but greatly contribute to this "pirate" theme in the game.

I enjoyed playing this and hope you make more games like that :) I liked the colors used, they are pretty, but I think that for your next project, you could try to go for a slightly more detailed ARRRtstyle! xD

Very cool-looking game you've got there! :) It plays very smoothly and I like the art style in conjunction with the level design, I even found a hidden path ;^) Oh, also, let's not forget those great explosions. Boom.
I didn't get too far playing this, but this seems very interesting and promising :) Good job on this game! ^_^

This is one great music visualizer! I like the vast ammount of tracks you've used and also the various visualisers we could choose from, everything had a cool look to it :^) Though I feel like it's a bit slow and clunky, since switching the track or changing the volume didn't have a very instantaneous response.
Nevertheless, pretty cool work! It'd be cool if we could add our own tracks to it as well :3

KingCringe responds:

Future versions will see drastic performance improvements.
It plays best in chrome, and you can play your own music by dragging the mp3 into Muzika.

Fantastic! I love the 3D look & feel of the game, having the camera follow you like that and that dynamic level design really captivates you ^_^ Also, I really enjoyed hearing that sound effect when your character dies, like some glass breaking xD But it's a tad bit too loud in my opinion.
There were also some really neat puzzles in there.

Overall, I think you did really well wit this game! Keep up the good work! ;^) I like the style your games have, very 3D-ish but with excellent performance and cool effects :)

Xidostudio responds:

Thanks for those nice words.
I'm going to fix the volume of the sounds.
Thank you!

I'm speechless... this was probably one of the best and most fun flash games I've played in a while. I'm also surprised that it is completely free with nothing being shoved into our face regarding buying the full game, though this was definitely a premium level game. Feels like playing Minecraft or Terraria in your browser, but with top-notch quality ;^)

From being able to customize your character at the start, creating signs, naming your animals, being able to cook pizzas, omeletts & cakes, having a companion whom you can feed and who'll defend you no matter what, building a railway underground... So many countless and insane possibilities in the game, I've always had fun and it didn't feel too slow/fast, everything was at a nice pace and how things went do depended on you, whether you'd rather mine deeper, take care of your farm or explore the island more :D

I'm very happy and satisfied after playing this game and I hope that atleast one of the game's developers will be able to read a slight portion of my review xD I just want to thank you for creating this entertaining masterpiece and making it for us, Newgrounds users, playable without a hassle ^_^

Awesome concept! I've always been a fan of polished and fun tower-defense games, and I like this one in particular due to how clever the mechanic is! The fact that your bones represent your money and health at the same time requires you to be very strategic and play smart, but at the same time makes room for lots of different play styles, be it aggressive or passive :)

Overall, this game is great. Feels like one of those high-quality jam games that get posted on Newgrounds once in a while, always love seeing them :^) I don't know what to criticize in this game, everything felt so smooth and was enjoyable. I'd maybe add different stages for more variety, but it's perfect the way it is already ^_^

Oultrox responds:

Thank you for your kind feedback!

I'm glad you liked our whole concept itself. More stages would be nice indeed for sure!

This is a very nice start! I love the effects and sound effects in this game -> Whatever you do, it feels like it's having an impact on the game and you always have something to entertain you, either moving very quickly with your character and watching that slick plasma tray or quickly hitting the ball on your side like a ninja -> It's just very fun to play around with this ^_^

Overall, great game, I'd just suggest a two-player mode and making it a bit more challenging. I've got to say, after I've looked at your site I've noticed that you have more games. It would be cool if you uploaded them on here, I'd definitely like to see more stuff from you, your style is neat :)

Xidostudio responds:

Thanks! it's nice to hearing. Yes, maybe it's a bit easy. I'll try to update the difficulty in future updates.

I just about to submit a new game, and i'll try to update in-development projects to allow you to see how it evolves.

Thanks again for the comment!
