Quel jeu video fantastique! I love the creepy vibe it was giving off! The colors were used very well, red being very menacing with those red flash scenes appearing and the colder colors giving off a more chill and relaxed vibe. I'm loving this as your first game on the site! I can clearly see that you have had experiece creating cool games like this already ;^)

Anyways, keep up the good work! Gonna play this game through a bit later, it's night for me now and I'm too scared, heheh ;)

Neat! The gameplay is very smooth and fun and I've enjoyed the increasing difficulty and complexity of the levels! I'm definitely gonna get all of those medals ;P
By the way, one thing totally caught me off-guard. I've noticed that in the software section to the left you have "Inkscape" added. Did you only use Inkscape to make this game's art? If yes, then I'm really impressed, I use it on a day to day basis and didn't know you could make full games using it! ;D

Rob1221 responds:

Yes, I used Inkscape to make all the objects in the game. My engine doesn't use vector images so they all get exported to PNGs first.

Great to see you making more games like this! I'm loving this killer series! Each game is the same at the core, but they each have their own twists and unique mechanics! Each one feels so polished and fun to play, I'm loving it ;P The aesthetics of the levels, along with the smooth gameplay and crisp sound effects create a very enjoyable gaming experience ^_^

On another hand, I'm curious, what engine are you using for your games?

jronn responds:

Glad you're enjoying it! :)

I'm using a javascript framework called Phaser (https://github.com/photonstorm/phaser)

Very addictive and adorable game ;3 I love its cute, colourful pixel art style, creates neat eye candy ^_^
So far, I'm not able to get very far since I can't wrap my head around how far the alpaca can jump. It seems like it's about getting used to the gameplay... Well, atleast the game plays very smoothly and I'm very satisfied with the frame rate :^)

Overall, this looks very enjoyable so far. Let me know when you'll add medals and leaderboards to this game, and I'll definitely consider playing it again :D

How adorable :3 I enjoyed the overall look of the game, the 3d assets look decently realistic and cute ;) I also like the jungle-themed soundtrack going along with the game and its animal toys, makes me feel like I'm the lion and it's my mission to show those peasant animals who's the king of all animals.
Regarding the gameplay aspect, I had some trouble attacking the toys, it was just difficult having to move in a three-dimensional space with the view I was given and there were lots of toys approaching me and they were pretty sturdy, too.
Nevertheless, I think the overall gaming experience is very interesting, the game's overall theme is neat and despite me not being able to properly play the game, I've had fun just randomly launching my toy across the room like a madman! ;D I've liked this one, keep up the great work!

Hey, thanks for the great feedback! I get your point about the gameplay. I basically made a little physics sandbox where I slapped some gameplay on, the physics could use some finetuning as does the clarity in 3d space. Something to think about for an update in the future!

This is one of those games that you used to play many years ago and weren't able to defeat the final boss after dozens of attempts and that's when you gave up ;)
Now that I've revisited this after so many years, I'm glad to have beaten the game in one clean run ^_^... What's this, there is a NORMAL mode and a HARD mode?? Are you trying to tell me that all those years I was trying to beat the final boss on EASY mode? Oh Lord...

Anyways, this game's amazing! One of my favourite games to come back to, the non-stop action, wide array of weapons and the unique missions in this make it so much fun to replay! After finishing the four missions, I was expecting a totally different fifth mission. It was the same as the first mission but with the Normal difficulty, and I was a bit dissapointed at first, but once I realized how much the difficulty spiked up, I knew I was in for another big adventure...

This was... insane! Coming from it's prequel, this is an excellent continuation of Cactus McCoy's adventures! The additional mini-bosses were a nice addition, since the end of all areas is mostly the same and this spiced things up.
I also like the addition of the arsenal, getting to choose your own weapons at the start is really cool, I always went with Hatfield's Pistol, as a legacy to the first Cactus McCoy game ;^)

The visuals, gameplay, general concept and more is the exact same as in the prequel, but this one has more weapons, badges and I also like the areas more, they have their own, unique vibe.
Very unfortunate that there isn't a third part, I've had a blast being on this action-packed and mesmerizing journey with our cactus buddy! ;-; Oh well, all good things must come to an end...

I've enjoyed this, the track is very catchy and the gameplay's quite interesting as well ^_^
I was a bit confused while playing, because I did not know how to properly play the game, like why my moves were so restricted and how I could dodge spikes which were aligned in a way that you couldn't pass them.
But eventually I figured it out. I'd perhaps add a bit more to the game, like multiple obstacles and levels with different looks/music.
Nevertheless, I'm happy with it :D Keep up the good work!

Loving it, it's one of those simple but incredibly well-made pixel art games! The levels seemed incredibly easy at first and I thought something was wrong due to how simple they were, but then I finally understood the complexity of the game once all those other creatures were introduced, too.

Awesome job on this! Hoping to see more fun games like this coming from you ^_^

Very nice, I really enjoyed the option to customize your character with differently colored bots who have different patterns on them! Awesome detail.

The overall game plays very well, I enjoyed it without any bugs. I'd suggest working on the level design a little bit, maybe adding more color or details to the background and making the stage feel less like a "maze". It took me a very long time to beat the first stage since I was going in circles and didn't know the first time that you were supposed to pick up those crystals inside of those slots. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the layout could be simplified, or more zoomed out.

Either way, good try on your first game on here, just from its thumbnail I knew I was about to play a quality game ;^)

BlueFireArts responds:

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!
